Sales Manager Europe

Location: Billingham

Salary: c£70,000 + excellent benefits package

This role covers CPI business in Europe, Africa, and Middle East. The customers  base include OEM,s, National Oil companies, Distributors, System builders, and independent customers.

This role reports to CPI Global Sales Director

In this role you will be responsible for:-

  • Executing the CPI sales strategy for MENA region
  • Leading, managing and growing CPI Compressors’ business in Europe, Africa and ME
  • Managing customers and distributors to drive results in the region utilising capabilities of channel partners
  • Building and managing world class, cohesive sales team
  • Leading and developing the sales team to support sales strategies to deliver results and achieve growth
  • Driving motivation, including personally driving sales, to contribute significantly towards CPI targets and profit in the region
  • Working with CPI other functional teams to drive sales, support, and Products management strategy based on market needs
  • Providing regional sales information and make recommendations to senior management teams
  • Resolving problems, identify market trends and needs, and determine improvements
  • Assessing and monitor regional market needs relative to industry trends
  • Directing the improvement & execution of CPI business. Providing recommendations on how to grow the business in the region
  • Building effective, strong relations with key customers and stakeholders
  • Accomplishing the CPI mission & Vision by completing related results as needed
  • Providing leadership and Motivate sales team to achieve their individual sales goals
  • Maintaining and expanding customer base
  • Managing the CPI office in UK


To be successful in this role you will:

  • Possess solid market and industry knowledge and understanding, market products, demands and growth
  • Have a proven track record of sales growth at existing and new customers
  • Holding knowledge in compressor market would be advantageous
  • You will have Bachelor’s degree
  • Ideally with 5-15 years’ experience managing sales within the lubricant or specialty chemicals related industry
