Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple projects ranging from R&D to cGMP in all aspects of development including formulation, analytical, bioanalytical, physical characterization, and manufacturing
  • Cultivates collaborative relationships with internal and external team members
  • Proactively identifies and facilitates the resolution of potential risks to the critical path of projects
  • Leads day-to-day operations of project team members including scheduling, communication, and billing
  • Facilitates internal and client project meetings, including capturing meeting notes, etc.
  • Develops project plans and manages effective execution of project tasks
  • Prepares and negotiates quotes & addendums

 

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of a BS degree, preferably in a scientific field
  • Previous educational or industrial experience in a scientific field, preferably including the management of projects
  • Proficiency with common PC-based applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding organization skills and time management skills
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical and business information, both oral and written to others, including co-workers, supervisors, subordinates, and clients

 

Considered a Plus

  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Familiarity with cGMPs, GLP, and FDA/ICH guidelines and their application to drug development and release
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Experience creating Gantt charts
