What You'll Do:

As a Corporate Travel & Group Services Specialist, you will work closely with the other members of our travel team and our TMC to ensure that all travel requests are responded to in a friendly and timely manner, and within our travel and entertainment policy.   In addition, this candidate will have a keen sense of identifying savings, policy compliance and quality control within the reservation process.  This position requires outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  Attention to detail and outstanding communications skills are a must. The successful candidate should be a self-motivated and organized individual who enjoys working as part of a team in delivering an elevated, premium level of service to all levels of employees.

 

What We're Looking For: 

  • Confirm lowest logical air, car, hotel, group and ground transportation reservations according to the travel policy
  • Handle multiple travel requirements for individuals and group as well as preform quality control, savings functionality and special services
  • Ability to quickly and accurately identify re-calculations of international and domestic airfares for cost savings
  • Sourcing the safest, most logical and most cost effective worldwide flight routes, hotels and ground transportation
  • Answering calls and emails from employees in a polite, efficient, timely and professional manner
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the Lubrizol reservation process – including quality control and the on-line Concur booking tool process
  • Knowledge of international pricing and reservation process
  • Knowledge of group reservations and bookings for hotels, ground transportation and airlines
  • Communicate all necessary client concerns or policy noncompliance to and manager
  • Provide VIP,  concierge and outstanding customer service as needed
  • Assist with value added projects requested by travel management
  • Online reservation fulfillment and ticketing
  • Quality control of Concur and TMC bookings for cost  savings and compliance
  • Credit card T&E assistance as needed
  • Advanced Knowledge of Visa and passport process
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • Successful completion of high school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of corporate travel experience required, plus experience in group travel services preferred.
  • Expertise with the Galileo/Apollo GDS travel system
  • Knowledge of Concur online booking tool
  • Experience with complex domestic and international fares required
  • Possess excellent geographical and product knowledge of destinations and suppliers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • High level analytical skills, excellent communication and organizational skills
