What You'll Do:  
As a Footprint Project Manager for Europe, you'll be at the forefront of our footprint optimization, driving exciting projects and initiatives and will assist in developing a network map for manufacturing facilities and consolidation plans that align with the business. You will be responsible for coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to implement and complete large-scale projects that align with the business strategy and goals for Lubrizol with the objective of optimizing the footprint of Lubrizol in Europe.

 

What We're Looking For: 
• Responsible for the coordination, implementation, control, and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of Lubrizol.
• Set deadlines, manage work stream owners within different departments, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project.
• Manage closing plants' projects and closing lab projects.
• Manage product transfer projects both in coordination with plant consolidations and as a separate project.
• Support the Footprint (Network) Director in creation of the network map (an overall classification of sites and plan for consolidation, closing or maintenance)
• With support from manufacturing technology which will select the most effective technologies, create the automation and advanced manufacturing plan which will outline where and when these technologies will be put in place in the remaining plants
• Provide risk/reward trade-off to business groups for decisions 
• Communicate and escalate risks that could impact objectives and deliverables 
 
Skills That Make a Difference: 
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in engineering or program management  
• Experience in plant closures and product transfers, particularly where customer or regulatory approvals are required 
• Minimum 10 years of combined business and Operations/Manufacturing experience 
• Proven track record of project management experience 
• Expertise in using project management tools such as MS project 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong facilitation capability 
• Exceptional critical thinking skills 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, outlook, teams, and SharePoint)  
• Ability to be organized, problem solver solution oriented    
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus
• Chemical experience is an advantage

• Willing to travel 20%-30% mainly in Europe
