Engineering Manager

      ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Cultivate a culture and commitment to safety excellence while ensuring responsible and disciplined operations in Maintenance, facility and project management in Songjiang site. Measured by TRR, LTI, process safety incident annual target.
• Continuously improve the people and organizational capability in Songjiang site. Measured by Succession plan, Talent development, Organization development.
• Maintain and provide high equipment reliability to support Songjiang site production with lower cost, high efficiency. Measured by equipment downtime rate, maintenance expense and project performance.
• Be accountable for Songjiang site capital project planning and execution as well as continuous improvement. Be interface with corporate engineering and operations to ensure the alignment with organizational objectives. Measured by project performance including of budget control, quality and safety.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for HSES management of engineering and maintenance activities, act as site management team on improvement of site HSES performance
• Ensure that effective health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) and preventative actions are well implemented and maintained in place to achieve HS&E goals and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Develop annual Songjiang CAPEX plan aligned with stakeholders following planning process coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects with good control on budget, schedule, quality and safety
• Be accountable to develop maintenance system and preventive maintenance strategy, to increase equipment reliability and stability
• Development and execution of project management process by following established internal process/procedure and developing site procedures

• Provide leadership, coaching, performance evaluate and make development plan for engineering team members
• Be accountable for making and control department budget
• Maintenance service contractor and vendor performance management, and optimize and integrate engineering resource with high safety, quality and efficiency
• Maintenance monthly report and Maintenance KPI management
• Be responsible for improving OEE by reducing equipment downtime, and continuously improve MTBF and MTTR

Technical supporting

• Work with team to continue to improve safety, efficiency, quality and new production development
• Mechanical integration (MI) management
• Global technical team communication
• Take role of technical support from equipment to new production innovation and project
• Support the team to implement 5S and TPM activity

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

Education Background:

• Bachelor Degree in mechanical /electrical /instrument, or engineering etc.

Technical Skills:

• Project management certification(PMP).
• Solid maintenance and project management in chemical industry
• Provide strong technical support to team
• Good communication capability and skill
• TPM knowledge

Other Experiences Preferred:

• At least 8 years working experience; foreign venture experience is preferred
• At least 5 years maintenance and projects management experience in chemical industry
