ACCOUNTABILITY:

This role is accountable for planning and executing marketing communications activities, conducting new markets studies, and implementing new products promotion campaign to enable business growth in the region.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute marketing communication and branding strategy.
    • Lead, develop and execute digital marketing plan aligned with business priorities and support business growth.
    • Communicate and coordinate with global marcomm team to adapt and implement new launches, promotion campaign and novel marcomm platform into APAC.
    • Evolve and manage the digital promotion platform to maximize the output for supporting business growth.
    • Lead to develop and embellish marketing and promotion campaigns; plan and manage regional key promotion events including tradeshow, seminars, online events etc. in APAC.
    • Vendors and marcomm budget management to ensure good alignment with marketing strategy and maximized outputs.
  • Market dynamisms and landscape analysis
    • Keep watch on the dynamic competition landscape and update the competitor profile on regular basis.
    • Market dynamism monitoring
      • Trend, new launch, new concept, new move, or any short to long term and impactful market dynamics to industries such as coating, ink, plastics, composite, electronics etc.
    • Market intelligence collection
      • Use big data to conduct market analysis and segment analysis aligned with project priority and marketing plan.
    • Market trend and new application study
      • Collect trend information and link the trend to consumer need with industrial response, to study new market and align with project/marketing strategy.
  • Ad-hoc support on events, concepts, activities, and campaigns for strategic customers

 

 

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

 

Education & Professional Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in chemical relevant or marketing major
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing or market communications, chemical multinationals preferably.

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge and experience about digital marketing experience is a strong plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Power Point, PS or video making software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good team player
  • Proactive and agile in learning new knowledge and skills
  • Willing to work extra miles and achieve excellence.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
