Summary of Responsibilities:

The Shipper Receiver Material Handler is responsible for the transporation, staging, preparation, and loading of finished goods for shipment, as well as, the unloading and receipt of inbound materials.

Essential Job Functions:

• Keep current with required transportation related regulatory training, including Hazardous Material training.
• Create and process shipping documentation (Labels, Bill of Ladings, Dangerous Goods Declarations, Invoices, Certificate of Analyses, etc).
• Prepare and package shipments for transporation.
• Receive and process inbound deliveries.
• Operate shipping and receiving equiment (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Pallet Wrappers, Banding Machines, etc).
• Participate in site initiatives (Continuous Improvement, 5S, Core Problem Solving, etc).
• Maintain accurate and timely records in SAP.
• Maintain area housekeeping and organization standards.
• Adhere to documented standard operating procedures and processes.
• Other duties as necessary.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Physical Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 2+ years of warehouse/shipping experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Must have strong work ethic, professional attitude, and be detailed oriented as well as reliable.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
