Stores and Supply Chain Apprentice 

Location: Hazelwood, Derbyshire, DE56 4AN

What Will Be Your Environment:

The Hazelwood site is located in a rural setting in Derbyshire. Join us at our European Research and Development centre with circa 300 employees, covering a vast array of roles across state of the art laboratories, engineering facilities, corporate and commercial services.

What You'll Do:

As a Stores / Supply Chain Apprentice, you will work as part of our busy, onsite Stores department.  You will work to complete your Level 2 Apprenticeship over  a period of 15 months, whilst gaining job experiences and insights in a truly global corporation.  You will also participate in off the job training that is equivalent to one day a week away from site.

• Receive, inspect, handle and distribute various goods and materials
• Accurately issue materials to internal customers
• Perform activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform inventory reviews, quantity and condition of goods
• Safely Package goods with guidance
• Highlight potential issues and suggest solutions with guidance
• Work flexibly within small team of 3

• Knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Good IT literacy
• Communicate effectively and professionally
• Work collaboratively in a small team
• Awareness of Health & Safety Guidelines
• Be flexible, organise and prioritise work under pressure
• GCSEs Maths and English
