What You'll Do:

 

Lubrizol is seeking a new Account Manager for our Lubrizol Fluid Engineering (LFE) team. In this remote role you are responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with regional EMEA customers. You are accountable to deliver sustainable business growth and meet financial targets with the assigned regional accounts with winning value propositions and ensuring a professional purchasing experience.

  • Maintain and expand relationships with Lubrizol Fluid Engineering customers and responsible for achieving sales goals and assigned corporate account objectives.
  • Actively collect information to build strategic account plans to grow customer business and overall market share.  Provide annual plan input to commercial team for assigned accounts.
  • Analyze customer profile, business plans, competition status and SWOT, to develop strategic customer plans for short- and long-term growth objectives.
  • Drive revenue, deliver expected margin, and ensure continued profitable growth of the LFE product and service portfolio with their accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with LFE sales and product management cross functional teams to define, decide on, and lead the implementation of pricing decisions.
  • Develop and share customer and market insights.
  • Accountable to develop and manage the sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Owns the account plan document maintenance withing CRM.
  • Monitor and provide updates to the rolling forecast via the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for assigned accounts.
  • First line technical support to assigned customers.
  • Process lead inquiries received by customer service, internet, voice mail, others.
  • Review requests for samples and literature from various Lubrizol websites and respond as appropriate.
  • Use CRM to update customer profiles, provide meeting minutes, develop and implement a lead tracking and follow-up system.
  • Assist in the collection of receivables as necessary.
  • Work to prevent problems as well as resolving supply challenges.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and monthly reports.
  • Drive the execution of Corporation’s priorities:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

 

 

What We're Looking For:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or Master in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of Account Management in a business-to-business environment
  • Must be able to present oneself professionally via excellent interpersonal, telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel

  • Bilingual (English + German/French/Arabic)
  • Experience in New Business Development.
  • Experience in Product Management.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, presentation and negotiating skills.

  • Must be willing and able to travel (15-25%) as required.
