What Will Be Your Environment: 

You will be base in our plant in Gavà (Barcelona) and will have the opportunity to work for all the locations and backup our team in Europe.

 

What You'll Do:  

As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you will monitor, implement, manage, and optimize customs & trade compliance processes at an EMEAI level. You will assist the Trade Compliance Manager in all functions related to EU Customs Compliance to achieve corporate goals and objectives. You will be accountable for the maintenance of corporate customs compliance, EU policies/procedures and provide guidance and support to the various departments. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.  

 

What We're Looking For: 

  • Manage import and export requirements for Customs Compliance relevant regulations.
  • Follow-up the activities managed through the freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Checking correctness of customs declarations submitted by external partners.
  • Perform checks and controls to ensure compliant month-end closing reporting.
  • Follow-up of stock records by processing different worklists in SAP GTS.
  • Ensuring correct classification, valuation, and origin calculation of goods.
  • Act as point of contact for local customs authorities and manage relationship.
  • Drive continuous process improvements.
  • Manage customs audits.

  

Skills That Make a Difference: 

  • Preferred bachelor in Customs/International Trade
  • Minimum 5 years of practical work experience around customs and trade compliance.
  • Knowledge about EU Customs procedures and legislation and its impact on the operations.
  • Knowledge / Experience of Export control compliance legislation (such as EAR, Dual Use Goods, E-pic, etc.).
  • Spanish and English proficiency; other EU languages is a plus.
  • Computer skills MS Office, knowledge of SAP environment.
