What You'll Do:

 

As a Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation by leading cross-functional teams to plan and drive execution of projects, including new product programs, continuous improvement projects and programs. In addition, lead cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, quality, commercial and finance to ensure timely completion of project deliverables. Drives the use of project management tools in establishing timelines, building action item lists, assigning responsibility, completion dates and achieving milestones as well as following through to ensure completion and providing regular reporting of project status.

  • Help identify critical projects via data-based justification.
  • Help lead projects to completion to have positive impact on the bottom-line.
  • Manages cross-functional project teams throughout the project ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Coach and develop team to be more responsible and accountable, so future projects flow more smoothly.
  • Maintains, updates, and distributes reports to interested parties including team members, management, and customers.
  • Interfaces with customers or other external parties with regards to project status and updates
  • Utilizes Microsoft Project to manage timelines, build action items and assign responsibilities to achieve project milestones.
  • Works with management team to appropriately staff projects and identify misaligned priorities.
  • Promote use of tools and processes to drive improvement in overall schedule performance and accountability.
  • Focal point for project planning and communication.
  • Understand and follow the SOP’s pertaining to the specific area.
  • Understand and follow the Work Instructions pertaining to the specific area.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Skills That Make a Difference: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering. 
  • 5+ years of experience of project management in medical device. Preferably certified in project management (PMP).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project, Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be detailed oriented and proactive in follow-up and follow through.
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet delivery dates in a fast-paced customer manufacturing environment.
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
  • Excellent (written and verbal) communication and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible to change and possess a high degree level of integrity and “can do attitude”.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment and contribute to group goals.
  • Operates on a high level of initiative and creativeness, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner
