What You'll Do:

 

As a Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation by being responsible for all of facilities and maintenance functions in the Corona, CA plant. The Facilities & Maintenance Manager will coordinate building repair, janitorial and landscaping services and manage the Preventive Maintenance, tooling readiness (SMED) etc. Develop and manage Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) programs in coordination with HSE department. Develop and manage hazardous waste management program. The Facilities & Maintenance Manager is primarily responsible to lead cross‐functional teams to plan and drive execution of ongoing daily activities of manufacturing support and any work related to major projects; including i.e., 1) new product programs, 2) continuous improvement projects and programs (CIPs), 3) product and process productivity improvements 4) facility related upgrades, expansions, equipment / systems and maintenance support 5) Tooling management, upgrades and is ready for use (SMED) 6) Maintenance (preventive, breakdown, strategic etc) of all equipment and facility is completed and updated

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Provide technical assistance and facilities support to Operations.
  • Coordinate all building repair (interior/exterior), janitorial, landscaping and vendor related services.
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, resource assignment and completion on of preventative maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment including chillers, compressors, air handling units, fire suppression/alarm systems, and all other capital equipment.
  • Responsible for timely inspection, response, troubleshooting and routine repair of all capital equipment.
  • Responsible for identification, procurement, storage, and upkeep of all critical spare parts for building systems that may impact manufacturing and possess extended procurement lead time.
  • Facilitate the movement of equipment and furniture for any relocation or reconfiguration.
  • Develop and/or execute validation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) protocols for equipment.
  • Manage and maintain the Preventative Maintenance programs.
  • Support maintenance personnel in resolving facilities and equipment problems using systematic methods of troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and irreversible corrective action.
  • Design, develop and conduct safety and environmental training programs to satisfy OSHA requirements.
  • Design, develop and conduct hazardous waste management protocols, maintain air emissions permits, hazardous waste permits to satisfy DEQ and EPA requirements.
  • Prepare and submit various HSE reports in coordination with HSE department.
  • Work closely with Project Engineers in developing infrastructure and processes for new product development.
  • Generate, update, and implement process documentation.
  • Complete projects and report status in a timely manner.
  • Close assigned CAPA’s in a timely manner.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all requirements of ISO, FDA, OSHA, NFPA, EPA, DEQ, and DOT and ensure requirements are followed in the execution of these duties.
  • Maintain an efficient inventory of replacement parts that ensure all equipment can be repaired in a timely manner without having excess.
  • Required to design, build, and implement process equipment that meets the needs of the desired product. This requires detailed knowledge and demonstrates expertise in the areas of electrical, electronics, mechanical, pneumatics and /or hydraulics to complete. Also requires a detailed knowledge of fabrication and machining.
  • Analyze and correct identified maintenance issues. Identify continuous improvement options related to machinery.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Skills That Make a Difference: 

  • Bacheloler degree in engineering. Extensive relevant experience of 10 years may be considered in lieu of a degree.  
  • 3+ years of experience in Facilities and Maintenance role. 
  • Prior facilities supervisor experience (preferred). 
  • Experience with root cause analysis.
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (preferred).
  • Lean Manufacturing (preferred).
  • First Aid/CPR certified (preferred).
