Mechanical Testing Engineer

ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Lead team to produce timely & accurate test result to our customer satisfaction facilitating successful completion of their development projects leading to expanded and strengthened business relationships with Lubrizol product users.
• Actively integrate with respective segments disseminating the opportunities with current testing capability as well as developing novel testes and procedures for efficient and economical evaluation/ screening aiming for competitive benchmarking through effective use of Lubrizol resources and knowledge and skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordination of test schedule for timely completion along with data analysis and reporting results according to the customer requirements as well as regular communication /

updates on running status and availability of testers.

• Develop test plans for different mechanical designs for various equipment and/or machines.
• Be very hands on and mechanically inclined for setting up test (instruments/gaging as appropriate) and collecting test data as needed.
• Work very independently to determine and develop approaches to solutions.
• Perform engine structures & dynamics tests in customer field or lab environment utilizing data acquisition systems.
• Evaluate and adjust test methods & process diagrams to ensure operating flexibility to meet customer requirements.
• Analyze test data and effectively communicate test results and improvement recommendations to technology teams  on regular basis
• Manage bill of materials and test design related documentation.
• Source specific components, interact with laboratory operations data acquisition & control, and other internal & external resources. Effectively coordinate these resources to ensure optimum test performance and to manage test quality and delivery timing.
• Have frequent inter-organizational and customer interactions on difficult technical issues.
• Leverage trends in customer industries/marketplaces to shape solutions and approaches for our customers.
• Will contribute to the mentoring and training of other junior team members.

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

• Education Background:

• More than Bachelor / Master degree
• Over 15years experience in mechanical design and mechanical testing engineer

• Technical Skills:

• Mechanical engineering and data analysis  / macro programing skill
• Mechanical fundamental mechanism and tribology knowledge
• Strong Interest for new development and innovative skills
• Industrial standard and specification experience
• Strong English communication skill

• Other Experiences Preferred:

• Identify and lead major quality and LEAN improvement opportunities and coach others in managing and completing projects
• It is needed to communicate with partners (both internally and externally) about industrial standard test procedures.
• Exchange and report engineering matters to others according to Kinuura MT manner
• Prefer improving product and testing performance with effort in a daily work
• Fit to our organization (company policy and engineering activities)
