What You'll Do:

As a Junior Scientist, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving pharmaceutical applications projects. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. The person will work with the local team and collaborate with global Lubrizol Life Science technical and marketing organization to identify, evaluate, and deliver new ingredients and concepts in drug delivery for the pharmaceutical market.

What We're Looking For:

• Work collaboratively as a member of cross-functional project teams in pharmaceutical dosage forms development and drug delivery systems.
• Plan, design and conduct experiments and analyze results in pharmaceutical formulations development.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, results and conclusions.
• Provide project updates and recommendations through issuing of presentations and technical reports.
• Use expertise and knowledge to promote Lubrizol technologies to accelerate product development.
• Conduct work within Lubrizol laboratories, safely, and in compliance with all Lubrizol, local, state, and federal policies, environmental regulations and laws.

Skills That Make a Difference:

• B.Sc. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science) with experience in formulation and testing of pharmaceutical dosage forms, and design of drug delivery systems OR M.Sc. in Industrial pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science) with experience in formulation and testing of pharmaceutical dosage forms, and design of drug delivery systems.
• Demonstrated experience in design and formulation of various pharmaceutical dosage forms.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical dosage forms testing, drug delivery systems, drug development process and requirements.
• Ability to apply scientific understanding to experiment planning.
• Ability to plan and organize multiple assignments with minimal supervision.

• Strong verbal and writing communication skills, team working and interpersonal skills, to be successful in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Highly motivated toward achievements, well organized and results oriented.
